Wadi Al-Nazla is one of the most famous and oldest depressions in Egypt. It is located about 45 kilometers from the city of Fayoum, southwest of Fayoum Governorate, at a depth of approximately 33 meters from the earth's surface.
 The valley is famous for its pure black clay, which the villagers use in making incense burners.
